AI visibility for immigration law firms

When someone asks ChatGPT for an immigration lawyer in your city, is your firm named?

Findable Legal measures how often ChatGPT and Google's AI answers name your firm when people ask for an immigration lawyer in your city, in English and in Spanish. Each month you get one page with your numbers next to the firms named most often in your metro, a range showing how sure each number is, and a list of the work we did.

Work done this month

  • Google Business Profile: Saturday hours and Spanish-language service added.
  • Justia profile completed; Avvo practice areas corrected.
  • Two answer pages published after attorney approval, one in English and one in Spanish.
  • Wrong fact traced: ChatGPT said the firm has no Spanish consultations. The source was an old Yelp listing, now corrected.

Next month

Two more answer pages (asylum, family petitions) and a correction request to a directory that lists an old address.

Method: 20 agreed questions (14 English, 6 Spanish), each asked 10 times on each AI with the location set to Chicago, on different days of the month: 200 answers per AI. Ranges in brackets are 95% intervals from resampling the questions. Noise is how much shares move between runs when nothing has changed.

  1. 1

    We measure where you stand

In the first two weeks we agree on about 20 client questions, ask each one many times on ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews, and send you a baseline: how often you are named, and who is named instead.

    We do the work

We fix your Google Business Profile and directory listings, draft answer pages for your attorneys to approve, and get wrong facts corrected where they come from.

What we measure

We ask a fixed set of questions that clients ask, such as "immigration lawyer in Chicago who speaks Spanish" and "abogado de inmigración en Chicago". Each question is asked many times on different days, because AI answers change from one run to the next and a single screenshot tells you little. We count how often your firm is named against the firms named most often in your metro, and we note which websites the AI relies on when it answers.

What we work on

  • Your Google Business Profile, so the details are complete and match everywhere else.
  • Free profiles on directories that AI tools read, such as Avvo, Justia and Yelp.
  • Answer pages for the questions your clients ask. We draft them for your site, and nothing goes live until one of your attorneys has approved it.
  • Wrong facts. When an AI tool gets your address, hours or practice areas wrong, we find the page it took them from and get that page corrected.

The monthly report lists every piece of work. We never write fake reviews, pay for places on "best lawyer" lists or post under made-up names.

What we don't promise

Nobody controls what ChatGPT says, so we don't promise rankings or a number of new cases. Each month we tell you plainly whether your numbers moved, and whether the change is larger than the normal month-to-month noise.

Who it is for

Immigration firms with 2 to 20 attorneys in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC and Atlanta that already market themselves, with a website, Google reviews and perhaps ads. If referrals already bring you all the work you can handle, you probably don't need us.

About Findable Legal

Frequently asked questions

What is AI visibility for a law firm?

It is how often AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews name your firm when someone asks them for a lawyer. The answer usually names only a handful of firms, and the person asking may never look at a list of search results.

How is this different from an SEO agency?

Many agencies sell AI work as part of a larger SEO retainer. We do one thing: measure how AI tools name your firm, and work on the profiles, listings and pages they read. You can keep your current agency, and we will coordinate with them.

How is this different from tools like Peec AI or Otterly?

Those are self-serve tools that track AI answers for you to read and act on yourself. We do the measuring and the work, and report both to you on one page a month.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

No minimum term. You pay $1,500 a month and can cancel by email before the next month starts.

Do you work outside immigration law or these five metros?

Not yet. We started with immigration firms in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC and Atlanta, and we only take one firm per metro.

Want to see your firm's numbers?

Tell us your firm's name and city. We will send you its numbers from our latest measurement of your metro, with the date it was taken.
